Read the graphic novel New Kid by Jerry Craft, then dive into rich conversations about racial identity, code-switching, marginalizing behaviors, and the emotions associated with them.
The first session will cover the first half of the book. The second session will cover the second half of the book. Attendance is welcome but not required for both sessions.
Then attend the virtual author visit with Jerry Craft on April 30.
