In 2006, Toni Morrison curated a multidisciplinary exhibition at the Louvre Museum. “The Foreigner’s Home”. The documentary was released in 2018 and features our beloved Morrison interrogating themes of displacement, immigration and exile from the lens of art and literature. The film asks, “Who is the foreigner? Am I a foreigner in my own home? Who decides?” Questions made ever more prescient today.
Join us to watch The Foreigner’s Home, followed by discussion. Converse in community. This is part of a 3-part series to visit Morrison’s legacy of thought, community & love facilitated by SLG Artist in Residence Tiffany Lawson.
