Using Imitation as Inspiration

February 26 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm EST

(This event is shared with Thurber House agreement to giveaway one ticket to a Write Now Columbus member to one of their spring workshops! If you’re interested in entering please subscribe to the Write Now Columbus Newsletter before Feb. 3rd)

In this session we’ll learn how to mimic our favorite authors’ passages as a springboard to bring our own writing to life. We’ll model these passages to create more vivid scenes, characters and dialogue — in our own words. We’ll explore various passages from well-known books with hands-on writing exercises. Bring a passage or two from your favorite author.
