Mondays at 7pm on Zoom.
The Poetry Forum offers a featured reader and open mic on the second Monday of the month at 7 PM.
The calendar says we should all be suffering from the midwinter blahs, but The Poetry Forum keeps pushing back with one impressive reader after another. We hope you’ll join us Monday to hear Charlene Fix.
Charlene has published two chapbooks and three volumes of poetry, the most recent, Taking a Walk in My Animal Hat (Bottom Dog Press 2018). She is a coordinator of The Poetry Forum some years back, and her work has appeared in Poetry, Literary Imagination, The Journal, Pudding, The Cincinnati Review, Hotel Amerika, and others. Her prose study/homage, Harpo Marx as Trickster, was published in 2013. An Emeritus Professor of English at Columbus College of Art and Design, she co-coordinates Hospital Poets at the Ohio State University Medical Center and Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Bring some extra cash or a credit card so you can help us pay Charlene, who definitely deserves something extra for her work. We’ll be looking for you.
