One reason we write is because we love words. This workshop will focus on the words and phrases we choose to use. We will do writing activities that help us climb out of our word ruts, stretch our word repertoires, run from cliches, and change common words to power words. We will make our writing have punch. A good class for beginning writers but also for those who have been writing a long time and want to be refreshed and inspired. Prose and poetry writers of all levels are welcome to explore the possibilities of words. Lots of individual attention, group sharing, and fun.

It gets us through and sometimes heals us.
