Storytime with Authors Carlotta Penn and Debbie Rigaud

Join us for a very special storytime with author Dr. Carlotta Penn and Debbie Rigaud in celebration of their lauded picture book, Step by Step!: How the Lincoln School Marchers Blazed a Trail to Justice.

Dr. Carlotta Penn is founder and author at Daydreamers Press.She is a Daydreamer who believes in justice and in the power of arts and literature to activate change in the world. Dr. Penn has authored or co-authored five picture books, including the Turtle with Afro series and Bright Boy ABCs.

Debbie Rigaud (DebbieRigaud.com) is the co-author of the New York Times bestselling Hope series (written with Alyssa Milano) and the Sister Switch series (written with Sarah Mlynowski), and is also the author of the young adult novels Simone Breaks All the Rules and A Girl’s Guide to Love and Magic. She lives with her husband and children in Columbus, Ohio.
