SCBWI: Ohioana Book Festival Partner Panel: “Middle Grade Thrills & Chills”

Our April chapter meeting will take place on Thursday, April 11, from 7:00 – 8:00 PM EST. We’ll be hosting a special virtual panel in partnership with the 2024 Ohioana Book Festival featuring four talented Ohio authors and illustrators: Vilnius Oorte, Wolfgang Parker, Natalie D. Richards, and Erik Jon Slangerup.

From outdoor adventures to things that go bump in the night, these authors’ books keep readers on the edge of their seats – and eagerly turning pages! We’ll learn all about how these talented authors and illustrators craft their exciting middle grade novels.

The event will take place from 7:00 – 8:00 PM EST on Thursday, April 11th, via Zoom.

This event is FREE, but you MUST REGISTER in order to receive the Zoom meeting link.

The Zoom link will be sent after 5:00 PM on Wednesday, April 10th (the day before the event).

There WILL be replay for this event.

Our virtual chapter meetings are free and open to both SCBWI members and non-members, so do feel free to send this information to anyone who you think might be interested in attending.

The 2024 Ohioana Book Festival will be live and in person on Saturday, April 20, from 10:30 am – 5:00 pm at Columbus Metropolitan Library’s Main Library on 96 S. Grant Ave., Columbus, OH 43215. (Our SCBWI region will have a partner table at the event, so be sure to stop by and say hi!)
