Wex Artist Residency Award recipient Sa’dia Rehman and their sister Bushra Rehman explore their respective artistic practices, connections in their work, and identities as siblings.
Attendees are invited to visit Sa’dia’s exhibition the river runs slow in our galleries, where the artist will introduce their work. Bushra will then share excerpts from her latest novel, Roses, in the Mouth of a Lion, in the Wexner Center Store before joining Sa’dia in conversation. The book, which will be available for sale in the store, is a New York Times Book Review Editors’ Choice and is featured in NPR’s 2022 Books We Love category.
The artists will participate in a Q&A with the audience after the conversation. Can’t make it in person? The event also streams on this page, and online viewers can text a question via the Wex hotline at (614) 813-3416.
Free for all audiences (RSVP requested)
