Ink Well Creative Writing Camp

The Ink Well Creative Writing and Performance Camp is a week-long immersive experience designed for teenage writers. Our creative writing workshop combines elements of creative writing and drama. We also include an essential review of academic writing skills, and examine how different styles of writing are related. Students will apply techniques used in mentor texts to their own writing. Throughout the workshop, we will focus on storytelling, plot lines, character development, structure, setting, monologue, and dialogue. Instructors will lead students through exercises that will encourage young writers to cultivate their craft and ultimately take it to the next level by preparing it for stage performance or publication.
