Or has the book already come out and you’ve just realised you’ve got to promote it? Or maybe you’re a midlist author with a book on the way and you’d like a refresher? Boot Camp are two days of Zoom workshops. The sessions are headlined by award-winning authors Candy Gourlay, Sara Grant and Mo O’Hara. This year previous Boot Campers will share their nuggets of wisdom, Sheila Averbuch will give you the lowdown on Goodreads (why you shouldn’t avoid it like the plague!). We also have industry insiders librarian Jenny Hawke, publicist Nina Douglas, Yvonne King of author bookings agency Authors Aloud, and Frances Sleigh of Bloomsbury Sales. The sessions will be recorded and the recordings will be available to rewatch until the 15th of June 2025.
