Author Visit: Carmella Van Vlett

We are excited to welcome back author Carmella Van Vleet in celebration of her new nonfiction book (ages 7+), Frozen in Time: What Ice Cores Can Tell Us about Climate Change.

Carmella’s book is a dazzling introduction to paleoclimatology for kids, connecting the methods that scientists use to study our climate history with future climate change solutions.

Carmella Van Vleet is a former teacher and the award-winning author of almost 2 dozen books for kids and adults. She lives in Ohio and likes lists,  exclamation points, and baking shows. But not necessarily in that order.
