Over the past several months many of you haven’t been receiving the newsletter. You’ve told me that you only knew it had gone out when you received an Errata or an Addendum. I, however, have simply continued sending the massive missive and expecting it to reach you. It’s time to face the facts. A 17 page e-mail is just too long!
So, I’ve made some changes. We’ll see how it works.
Starting now, my the newsletter e-mail you receive each month will contain three main parts: my rambling little “get off the sofa and write” Essay (pre-empted this month by this public service announcement), a Summary of Events, and the Fine Print. You will be able to view the details of the Events, the On-going Writing Groups and the On-going Open Mics by clicking links in the newsletter which go directly to these items on my website.
I hope these changes are not too sudden, too difficult, too shocking. And if you can think of a better way to make this all work, let me know. I’m open to suggestions.
In the meantime, we’d better get to work. The muse won’t wait forever!
