Hi Writers:
I wish I could say that Teddy’s aphorism was my motto. Unfortunately, I’m more the, “Don’t shoot ’til you see the whites of their eyes,” type. If you recall, this latter sentiment is attributed to General William Prescott during the battle of Bunker Hill when his troops ran low on ammunition. He was not a writer trying to market his work.
A better approach lies somewhere in the middle. Take aim and shoot often. Send your writing to those it interests, but send out a lot of it.
Let’s improve our odds. Shoot more often. I will if you will.
